An Riocht Annual General Meeting Wednesday 10th December 2003
 

An Riocht Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 10th December at 7:30pm At Dunavil.

A Committee to Run the Club will be elected at the Agm.

It Is Your Club So It Is Important You Are There.

Be Informed and read the proposed changes to the Structure of the committee that are outlined below. Be prepared to get involved in the running of the club.

Start by attending this very important meeting.
Your input can make us successful.

There will be a short but important meeting of all adult (Over minor age in 2004) footballers on Friday 12 December at 7:30pm at Dunavil.

Please be on time and encourage others to attend.

Will Take Place At Dunavil At 7:30pm
On Wednesday 10th December 2003.

There is a proposal to change the make up of the Club Management Committee as follows:

To Be Elected At The Agm Or Failing That Positions To Be Filled From Within The Committee (I.E. Officers Taking On A Second Position) Or Preferably To Be Filled By Co-Option At The Discretion Of The Committee (I.E. Committee To Approach Appropriate Persons).

Position and brief Job description

1: Chairman:
Chair Meetings; Uphold Constitution; Leadership; Integrity.

2: Vice Chairman:
Act In Conjunction With The Chair And On Behalf Of Club.

3: Treasurer:
Record, Receive, Lodge, Payout Club Funds; Budget; Fund Raise.

4: Assist. Treasurer:
Act With Treasurer To Ensure Management Of Funds.

5: Secretary:
Main Point Of Contact; Organisation Of Meetings; Keep Records.

6: Assist. Secretary:
Assist The Secretary In Whatever Way Needed.

7: Registrar:
Register Members & Collect Their Fees; Advise Club Of Trends.

8: Insurance Officer:
Manage & Promote Insurances & Collect Fees.

9: Safety Officer:
Risk Management; Accident Control; Indoor/Outdoor.

10: P.R.O:
Communicate; Promote Club; Website; Papers; Posters; Internal / External.

11: Youth Officer:
Arrange Activities On/Off The Pitch For/By Club Youth; Schools.

12: Delegate To County & Divisional Boards:
Represent Club At Meetings; Report Back;

13: Cultural Officer:
Actively Promote Music, Song, Dance, Language Through Organised Classes, Entertainment, And Participation In Scor/CCD etc.

14: Grounds Maintenance:
Upkeep Of Grounds & Buildings; Pitch Marking; Grass Cutting; Tidy Up; Necessary Repairs.

15: Coaching Officer:
Ensure Coaching Opportunities Are Available & Taken Up.

16: Social Secretary:
Organise Occasional Club Functions; Annual Presentations.

17: U21 Representative:
Act On Committee On Behalf Of Younger Members.

To Be Co-Opted
18: Players Representative:
Link Between Players & Club And Club & Players; Elected By Players Only.

19: Kingdom YC Representative:
Link From YC Committee to An Riocht Committee.

These Three Reps. Are The Management committees Link To The Games.

They Should Ensure an ongoing two way line of communication.
20: Camogie Representative:
21: Hurling Representative
22: Football Representative

There is another proposal, to introduce SCNI Policy on Child Protection into Articles of Association of An Riocht In accordance with our Adopted CPP.
