Stephen Doran was in action with a couple of vital saves but Saval eventually got through to net and go on to lead 1-6 to 1-3. A second goal from Michael off a Deaglan Morgan pass levelled the match and points from Jack Walker and Ronan White helped An Riocht to a three point interval lead, 2-6 to 1-6.

Following a great length of the field passing move Stephen Flood volleyed An Riocht seven points clear. Aidan Sloan and Kory Colgan blocked well but Saval were more and more dangerous and scored two goals in as many minutes to level the match at 3-8 apiece. The visitors went ahead when Stephen brilliantly tipped over the bar but An Riocht soon hit the front, John Paul Farrell advancing from midfield to goal. We started slowly and were getting beat 0.4 to 1.7 at half time We started a lot better in the second half and played some good football out scoring Ballyholland nine scores to two with Stephen Doran playing really well in goals making some great saves, the pick being a double save. We had hard luck for a goal three times, twice from Nathan McComisky when his shots blazed over the bar and once from Darragh Campbell who made a great run in behind the defence and with just the keeper to beat saw his shot well saved.

Best tonight were Stephen Doran Andrew Harper Nathan McComisky for his six points from midfield and player of the match Aidan Sloan .We have to praise the boys for the way they played in the second half, they never dropped their heads and played some wonderful one touch football but time just ran out on them with Ballyholland hanging on to win 2-8 to 0-13.

An Riocht got a lucky goal when John Paul Farrell’s shot for a point went all the way to the net, and John Paul added another point. An Riocht got a penalty which Nathan McComiskey took well, then the best move off the match followed, three passes and the ball was in the net. 09/08/2009* The U14 footballers beat Ballyholland. They started well and were leading two goals to no score before we got our first goal and then Nathan got another goal. We were playing well in the first half, moving the ball fast and best for us were Ryan Speirs and Darragh Campbell. At half time the score was An Riocht 4.4 Ballyholland 3.7. In the second half we let them start fast and we played too many short passes giving the ball away. Ballyholland were leading by five points before we started moving the ball fast again and getting the scores that brought us back into the game. We were getting beat by eleven points with ten minutes left when we got back into it and were led 9.11 to 7.11 when they got a penalty which was the last score of the match. Best for An Riocht were Nathan for his scores, Ryan for his running and passing off the ball, and Darragh for his winning of the ball and his five frees.

John Paul Farrell and Nathan McComiskey never gave up at centre field, Declan Clarke saw a lot of the ball as a roving corner forward and centre half back John O’Rourke finished top scorer. Scorers J O’Rourke 0-5, D Morgan 0-1, N McComiskey 0-1.

U14 Football v Mitchels 28/06/2009
The U14 footballers lost in Mitchels even though Michael O’Rourke scored 3-4.

U14 Football v Ballymartin 21/06/2009
Playing with the wind An Riocht U14 footballers were wining by three points at half time but only scored a point in the second half. There were a few scoring chances but they were not taken, the bar was hit and some other shots came close but it was hard to get the ball up the field against the bigger Ballymartin team into the wind .The boys all tried hard. Best tonight were Kory Colgan Darragh Campbell and Declan Morgan, Andrew Harper came on at half time and played well also. Darragh Campbell scored 1-2 in the first half and Michael O' Rourke (0-3) hit the bar when An Riocht were winning by two points then Ballymartin got their goal to leave them one in front and though An Riocht replied with a Nathan McComiskey point to leave it all even the visitors struck for a late winner, 1-7 to 1-6.

U14 Football v Longstone 21/06/2009
An Riocht progressed in the U14 football 'B' Championship with a big win over Longstone at Dunavil. All those hard matches and narrow defeats in Division Two stood to An Riocht when they faced the Division Three leaders. Playing some delightful football An Riocht blossomed against a team of similar stature to themselves and the large attendance were well entertained by the efforts of both teams. An Riocht: S Doran, B Rafferty, K Colgan, C Cunningham, D Clarke, J O'Rourke 0-1, S McDowell, JP Farrell 0-1, N McComiskey 0-3, R White 0-4, J Walker 0-1, D Morgan 1-3, R Spiers 0-1, M O'Rourke 4-1, D Campbell 1-5. U14 Football v Rostrevor 16/06/2009

U14 Football v Tullylish 09/06/2009
The U14 boys lost to Tullylish 4-8 to 2-9. Ahead three points to nil and playing some delightful football, particularly Ronan Whites catch and shot, An Riocht were rocked by three gifted Tullylish goals and fell away to trail by 3-7 to 0-3 at the break. However we settled for the restart and carried the game to the visitors. Ryan Spiers and Michael O’Rourke bagged goals apiece as An Riocht ate into the deficit and Stephen Doran made a fantastic save to frustrate Tullylish at the other end. However time ran out on the recovery and Tullylish finished with five points to spare.

U14 Football v Bosco 31/05/2009
This game failed to materialize as Bosco had not enough players and called the game off saving An Riocht a trip to the city.

U14 Football v Ballyholland 17/05/2009
The U14 footballers lost to Harps by 4-8 to 2-6 in an exciting match in which the visitors always had an edge. Ballyholland raced into a 2-1 to nil lead but once An Riocht settled Michael O'Rourke placed a shot to the bottom corner of the net and Ryan Spiers fired over two points to reduce the deficit to just two points, 1-2 to 2-1. Harps hit back with 1-2 before Michael O'Rourke pointed for a 1-3 to 3-3 interval score line.

On the restart An Riocht pointed through Nathan McComiskey and Darragh Campbell but Ballyholland continued to pull away. Towards the end of the half Ryan Spiers fired in a goal and John O'Rourke tagged on a point but it was too late to influence the result with a few other chances not completed.

Best for a game An Riocht side on this occasion were Stephen Doran in goals, Kory Colgan with some great blocking in defence, Nathan McComiskey at centre field, and Ryan Spiers and Michael O'Rourke in attack.

U14 Football v Glenn 10/05/2009
An Riocht drew in Glenn on a very bad night. The referee had to stop the game because of a hail storm and a couple of players had to come off because of the cold and wet, still well done to both teams for completing the match. Team: Stephen Doran; Ben Rafferty, Kory Colgan, Marc Higgins; Ciaran Cunningham, John O’Rourke 0-1, Stephen McDowell; Nathan McComiskey, JP Farrell; Ronan White, Ryan Spiers 0-3, Deaglan Morgan; Jack Walker 1-1, Michael O’Rourke 3-3, Darragh Campbell 0-2. Subs Declan Clarke, Andrew Harper.

U14 Football An Riocht v Mitchels 27/04/2009
The U14 footballers lost to Mitchels at Dunavil. The much bigger and stronger visitors raced into a six point lead but once An Riocht settled they began to move the ball intelligently and by half time led 1-8 to 1-6. The second half proved one way traffic however with An Riocht running out off steam and the visitors coming strongly for a comfortable 2-14 to 1-8 win.

U14 Feile Peil 27/04/2009
An Riocht lost their semi-final to Downpatrick by 2-5 to 1-4. An Riocht played poorly with the wind and trailed seven one by the break. On the restart An Riocht played some great football to get on level terms but the Hoops finished strongly with an injury time goal. John O’Rourke played very well at centre half back while the An Riocht scorers were Darragh Campbell 1-1, John Paul Farrell 0-2, Nathan McComiskey 0-1.

20/04/2009 U14 Football Ballymartin 3-11 An Riocht 5-10
An Riocht trailed by eleven points at half time having played against a stiff breeze but it was not only the wind which caused the deficit as the An Riocht boys did not work hard enough giving up against the bigger home players. A better attitude on the restart resulted in the scores starting to flow and by the finish a great recovery had been completed. Stephen McDowell, John O’Rourke and Ciaran Cunningham were best in a hard pressed defence, while Michael O’Rourke, Darragh Cambell and Jack Walker provided a potent attack. Team S Doran; B Rafferty, K Colgan, M Higgins; C Cunningham, J O’Rourke, S McDowell; N McComiskey, JP Farrell; R White 0-1, R Spiers 0-1, D Morgan 0-1; J Walker, M O’Rourke 4-2, D Campbell 1-5.

06/04/2009 * Feile Peil
An Riocht hosted and won their section of the football feile on Saturday morning. In the first game An Riocht came from behind to pip Longstone 3-4 to 2-1. Despite ceding height and going four down, An Riocht settled to play some good football. Michael O’Rourke struck a post before getting An Riocht off the mark with a flicked goal and then just before the break repeated the feat for a second goal. Points from Ronan White, Deaglan Morgan and Ryan Spiers were cancelled by Longstone’s second goal. Deaglan added another point before Darragh Campbell tucked away the third goal.
Ballyholland edged Longstone in the next game to set up a decider with An Riocht. the Harps were even bigger but An Riochts movement and range of passing nullified that advantage. Michael O’Rourke and Ryan Spiers scored early points before Michael fired home a goal to move An Riocht five nil clear. Three points either side of the break brought Ballyholland back into contention. Ryan Spiers replied with an An Riocht point before Ronan White placed a shot wide of the keeper for a second goal. A Ballyholland goal two minutes from time ensured a nervous finish but An Riocht responded in fine fashion with a long range Marc Higgins strike going all the way to the net for a 3-3 to 1-3 victory. Best for An Riocht were Kory Colgan, John O’Rourke, Ben Rafferty, Nathan McComiskey, John Paul Farrell and Jack Walker.

U14 Football Rostrevor v An Riocht 06/05/2008
The U14 boys lost in Rostrevor.

U14 Football 28/04/2008
Dunavil hosted Feile Peil on Saturday with An Riocht, Rostrevor and Mayobridge competing.

In the first game An Riocht lost 1-5 to 2-5 to a Rostrevor team which included several huge players. James Reilly scored the opening two points and Ronan McAlinden a third but the bigger Rostrevor boys burst through for two goals to lead 2-1 to 0-3 at the break. Aidan Donnelly and Ciaran Cunningham made some terrific blocks in the An Riocht defence during the first half. Declan Doyle pulled a point back on the restart but Rostrevor strung four like scores together at the other end. An Riocht were playing the better football but were not able to turn it into scores. In a storming finish Ronan McAlinden drove a free to the net and pointed another to leave just a goal in it but time had ran out on their brave challenge.
An Riocht played again straight away v Mayobridge. The Bridge were a more evenly sized outfit and both sides had chances before after seven minutes Declan Doyle goaled. Mayobridge hit back with a point but James Reilly and Ronan McAlinden with scores apiece put An Riocht 1-2 to 0-1 in front at the break. The Bridge went on to level six minutes into the second half but points from Ronan McAlinden and James Reilly restored An Riochts advantage and secured the win. Others to impress were JP Farrell and John O’Rourke in defence and Adam White and Brian Rodgers in attack

Though Rostrevor beat Mayobridge in the third and final game to qualify, its An Riocht who will take most out of the days action with their small team showing big hearts and great skills which augur well for the future.
In the league a goal separated An Riocht and Burren at Dunavil on Thursday. An Riocht can more than match their opponents for football but are still lacking in size and over an hour are worn down by the finish. Still growth will come in time and the skills learnt now will stand to these players in the future.

Deaglan Morgan got us off to a great start with a goal in our first attack and we held that advantage for the rest of the half going in 1-5 to 0-4 ahead at the break. Adam White was dictating the play with some fine ball winning and great passes and one led to James Reillys second half strike which wrapped up the result. Team: N Murnion R Magee A Donnelly N McComiskey J O’Rourke 0-1 R Spiers R McAlinden 0-2 D Doyle 0-1 M O’Rourke 0-1 A White C McConville 0-1 C Morgan 0-2 J Reilly 1-3 D Morgan 1-0.

Coaching 31/07/2007
The South Down U14 Development Squad coaching session took place at Dunavil last Saturday

U14 Football 31/07/2007
An Riocht lost by a point to Ballyholland. We suffered from an awful start and though we rallied in the second half we had left ourselves too much to do and fell just short of taking something from the match.

U14 Football 24/06/2007
The U14 footballers played Longstone in the league and Bosco in the Championship.

U14 Football 18/06/2007
The U14 footballers played Ballymartin in the league and Tullylish in the Championship winning both games. In Ballymartin after a close first half we pulled away with the wind after the break. Stefan Knox was top scorer with 2.3. Then in Tullylish a great first half display laid the foundations for victory. Gareth O’Neill and Aidan Donnelly in defence, both midfielders and Ryan White in attack were our best players. Team N Murnion; A Higgins, A Donnelly, S Curran; E Phillips, R Clarke, G O’Neill; D Doyle, R Mc Alinden; R White, J Reilly, A Mc Veigh; A White, S Knox, B Rodgers. Subs C Campbell, R Magee, C Mc Conville, C Morgan.

U14 Football 05/06/2007
The U14 footballers played Glenn away winning 2:11 to 2:3. the first half was a close affair with goals by Stefan Knox and James Reilly and good performances from Ronan Mc Alinden and Ryan Clarke. The second half saw An Riocht hold Glenn scoreless with Stephen Curran, Aaron Higgins and Eoghan Phillips all playing well. Team N Murnion; S Curran, A Donnelly, A Higgins; E Phillips, R Clarke, G O’Neill; D Doyle, R Mc Alinden 0:5; R White 0:2, J Reilly 1:2, K Sloan; B Rodgers, S Knox 1:0, A White0:1. Subs C Mc Conville, R Magee, C Campbell, C Morgan, A Mc Veigh, D Higgins 0:1.

U14 Football 29/05/2007
The U14 footballers beat Mitchels at Dunavil. An under strength team, due to school trips, performed heroically to overcome the bigger city side 4:12 to 4:9. The first half was mighty close, Ronan Mc Alinden and Ryan Clarke had played manfully at midfield with two late goals flattering us on a 2:9 to 1:4 interval lead. The second half was closer still with Mitchels managing three goals though we replied in kind through Kevin Sloan and Declan Higgins. Other good displays came from Stephen Curran, Aidan Donnelly, Aaron Higgins and Stephan Knox. Team John O’Rourke; Stephen Curran, Aidan Donnelly, Aaron Higgins; Caolan Campbell, Gareth O’Neill, Eoghan Phillips; Ryan Clarke, Ronan Mc Alinden; Kevin Sloan, Ryan White, Aidan Mc Veigh; Brian Rodgers, Stefan Knox, Declan Higgins. Subs Conor Morgan, Colin Mc Conville, Ronan Magee, Jason Sloan.

U14 Football 22/05/2007
The U14 footballers had no game

U14 Football 14/05/2007
The U14 footballers drew in Ballyholland 4:7 to 3:10. We began well and led by six points at the break but tired in the second half. Many of the players had school football earlier in the day. Ballyholland went level then four points ahead before with the switch of Stefan Knox to centre field we regained control and were soon back on level terms. Indeed it was An Riocht who had the better opportunity to snatch both points towards the end but perhaps Ballyholland did deserve something from the game. Team: N Murnion; S Curran, A Donnelly, A Higgins; G O’Neill, R Clarke, E Phillips; D Doyle, R Mc Alinden; K Sloan, J Reilly, R White; B Rodgers, S Knox, A White. Sub D Higgins. Player of the Match Stefan Knox (2:1).

U14 Football 07/05/2007
The U14 footballers beat Longstone at the Valley Road pitch. This was a good team performance. James Reilly made amends for missing an early penalty with a cracking goal from play and two well taken points. Ronan Mc Alinden and Declan Doyle took control of centre field in the second half. In defence Aidan Donnelly, Gareth O’Neill and Stephen Curran played well while in attack Adam and Ryan White and James Reilly delivered the scores. Team N Murnion; A Higgins, A Donnelly, S Curran; E Phillips, R Clarke, G O’Neill; D Doyle, R Mc Alinden 0:9 (8f); K Sloan, R White 1:2, J Reilly 2:3; B Rodgers 0:2, S Knox 0:2, A White 1:2. Subs C Morgan C Campbell A Mc Veigh C Mc Conville 0:1 J Sloan.

U14 Football 30/04/2007
The U14 footballers had Ballymartin at Dunavil and collected two more points. In the Feile we did really well to hold Bredagh to a one point margin but found Kilcoo and Rostrevor too strong. Thanks to everyone who helped with hosting the Feile.

U14 Football 05/03/2007

U14 12/09/2006
Indoor football will begin soon in the hall.

U14 v Burren 06/09/2006
The U14 boys were left disappointed when Burren failed to fulfil this, the final fixture of the season.

U14 v Atticall 28/08/2006
In their first game of the week the U14 footballers met Atticall for the third time in quick succession and lost again despite showing continued signs of improvement.

U14 v Longstone 28/08/2006
Three days later Longstone visited Dunavil and again we finished the wrong side of the score line but again played some delightful football. The visitors huge keeper was the main difference between the teams as we fell 3:12 to 7:12.

Skills 28/08/2006
Well done to Ronan McAlinden who scored full points in the Bord na nOg Skills competition.

U14 v Annaclone 22/08/2006
Minus several players we made the long trip to Annaclone and though we lost the team on duty did well. When you score 6 goals and 7 points you would expect to win but it wasn’t to be for the boys. Niall Murnion, Ryan White and Declan Doyle tried very hard at the back while Ryan Donnelly (3:1) and Adam White (2:0) were our top marksmen. A bit of support on Thursday for the last home game of the season would be appreciated and is no more than these players deserve after a long hard campaign. This wee team had not won a game before this season and have acquitted themselves well.

U14 v Atticall 12/08/2006
Ryan White and Declan Doyle were outstanding in a battling display that we deserved to take something from but ended up on the wrong side of a 3:8 to 0:11 score line. Team N Murnion; G O’Neill M Donnelly S Curran; R Clarke C O’Rourke R White; D Doyle 0:1 J Mc Culla 0:1; R Mc Alinden 0:4 R Donnelly 0:2 J Reilly 0:2; A Mc Veigh 0:1 A Higgins A White.

U14 v Atticall 30/07/2006
The U14 lost this ‘B’ Championship match 5:15 to 0:10. Atticall were too big around the middle of the field and we did not compete directly. All our play needed to be short and quick and it proved impossible to sustain that style for the hour. At half time we trailed 4:6 to 0:6, Eoghan Phillips had made two decent saves and we had come close to two goals ourselves. An early goal on the restart for the visitors ensured there would be no comeback but to their credit the boys played away to the finish. Team: Eoghan Phillips; Gareth O’Neill, Michael Donnelly, Aaron Higgins; Ryan Clarke, Ryan White, Christopher O’Rourke; James McCulla, Sean Colgan; James Reilly, Ryan Donnelly 0:7, Ronan McAlinden 0:2; Aidan Donnelly, Adam White 0:1, Aidan McVeigh. Sub Stephen Curran.

U14 Football v Mayobridge 26/06/2006
Despite a great start during which we led by 1:3 to 0:1 we fell away badly in the quarter hour before the break and Mayobridge ran in a lot of goals. A better second half saw us make a match of it but the Bridge held on for the win. James Reilly scored 2:4.

U14 Football ‘Paul Farrell Cup’ 26/06/2006
Fifteen teams took part and after a mornings football the quarter –final draw was in the Shield Bosco 6:4 Clonduff  ‘B’ 1:6, St. Johns 9:5 An Riocht ‘B’ 0:5, An Riocht ‘A’ 0:4 Ballymartin 2:4, Longstone a bye; and in the Cup Kilcoo 5:6 Downpatrick 0:4, Glenn 6:3 Clonduff ‘A’ 1:3, Shamrocks 4:4 Castlewellan 0:2, Saval 2:3 Rostrevor 1:4. The Shield semi-final results were St. Johns 3:2 Ballymartin 3:0, Bosco 4:1 Longstone 1:4; and in the Cup Kilcoo 2:6 Glenn 1:0, Shamrocks 1:1 Saval 2:3.

The Finals produced clear cut wins for Bosco over St. Johns in the Shield and for Kilcoo over Saval in the Cup. Liam Farrell presented awards to all four finalists from the podium in the new stand. Thanks to all who took part, who helped with the teas, the shop, the matches, and the organisation. Its all to do again next Saturday at U12 level, the Brian O’Hare Cup.

U14 Football v Aghaderg 19/06/2006
The under fourteen footballers won against visiting Aghaderg at Dunavil reversing a defeat at the west Down club earlier in the season. Another sign of the improvement this team is enjoying.

U14 Football v Mitchels  12/06/2006
The U14s had a handy win over visiting Mitchels on Tuesday past running up a big score in a very one sided match and this after the two teams had drawn a week earlier.

U14 Football v Mitchels 06/06/2006
The boys were involved in another high scoring match drawing 1:15 to 3:9 with Newry Mitchels. The game started well for us with good passing and fielding. Sean Colgan was scorer in chief with five first half points and Aidan Mc Veigh added a goal as we led 1:10 to 1:4 at the break. We never played as well in the second half and Mitchels outscored us 2:5 to 0:5. Our team leaders did not show and we were fortunate to come away with the draw.

U14 Football v Annaclone 29/05/2006
The U14 boys finally got a deserved first win after this hugely entertaining high scoring success over Annaclone, 3:20 to 4:7. Some of the passing, the willingness to offload the ball to a better placed team mate, the movement, and the sheer accuracy of the shooting augurs well for this group of players, maybe not this year, but they looked so comfortable on the ball they are certainly heading in the right direction.

Annaclone began best with some strong forays into our half but found defenders Aaron Higgins, Gareth O’Neill and Stephen Curran hard to get past and having established a base we were then able to launch our own attacks. Wing backs Ryan Clarke and Ryan White rushed forward at every opportunity and we soon had our first points on the board through James Reilly, Ryan Donnelly, Declan Mc Culla, Eoghan Phillips and Stephan Knox. A fine long range effort from Declan Doyle took us to six nil and Sean Colgan capped this good spell with a goal. Back came Annaclone with a goal and a point answered by two Ryan Donnelly frees but the visitors took control adding 2:1 to go level, 1:8 to 3:2. Just on half time our best player James Reilly edged us in front after a jinking run.

Annaclone levelled on the restart but four points in a row from Ryan Donnelly, Ryan White, James Reilly and sub Ronan Mc Alinden put us back in control. Annaclone scored again but Christopher O’Rourke and Stephan Knox restored our advantage. Then at the three quarter stage Annaclone goaled, 1:15 to 4:4, and could have netted again but for a fine block by Michael Donnelly and an equally good save by Niall Murnion. Adam White and Aidan Donnelly were introduced and grabbed a goal and a point between them while Aidan Mc Veigh and Stephen Bowater, both coming back from injury, came off the bench to bolster our challenge near the end.

Team N Murnion; A Higgins, M Donnelly, G O’Neill; R Clarke, S Curran, R White 0:1; D Doyle 0:1, C O’Rourke 0:2; E Phillips 0:1, R Donnelly 0:6, J Reilly 0:4; S Colgan 2:0, S Knox 0:1, D Mc Culla 0:1. Subs S Bowater, A Mc Veigh, A Donnelly 1:0, A White 0:1, R Mc Alinden 0:2.

U14 Football v Atticall 22/05/2006
No luck for the U14 footballers as the wet conditions forced another postponement.

U14 Football v Atticall 15/05/2006
There was no game as no referee turned up. The original referee was switched to another match and his replacement failed to weigh in.

U14 Football v Aghaderg  08/05/2006
The U14 footballers just cannot get a win. We travelled all the way to Aghaderg on a wet Thursday evening and played some nice football but just could not get enough scores losing on a 3:8 to 2:4 score line. Still the defence played especially well in particular Ryan White, James Mc Culla and Michael Donnelly, and the pick of the forwards were James Reilly and Ronan Mc Alinden. Team N Murnion A Higgins M Donnelly S Curran R White J Mc Culla R Clarke D Doyle C O’Rourke R Mc Alinden R Donnelly 0:1 J Reilly 1:2 A Donnelly 0:1 S Colgan A White 1:0. Subs S Knox M Burden E Phillips J Sloan G O’Neill.

U14 Football Feile  08/05/2006
Well done to the U14 footballers who recorded their first win of the season in Saturdays feile at Dunavil. We beat Ballymartin five points to one. After a tense first half in which the teams were locked on one point apiece and Niall Murnion pulled off a memorable save, we took out on the restart. Stephan Knox, Sean Colgan and Declan Doyle all shot over great long range points while the defensive play of Christopher O’Rourke, Stephen Curran and Aaron Higgins kept Ballymartins chances to a minimum.

In the next game against Ballyholland their superior size meant they eventually wore us down though we did well to be level at the break mainly through the efforts of Ryan Clarke, Ryan Donnelly, Gareth O’Neill and Mathew Burden.

In the final match Atticall/Glasdrummans eye for a goal was the difference with our six points overshadowed by their three goals despite the best efforts of Aidan Donnelly, Eoghan Phillips, Jason Sloan and Adam White.

U14 Football v Longstone 30/04/2006
The U14 boys lost in Longstone by five points though played well enough to have taken something from the match.

U14 Football v Burren ‘B’ 24/04/2006
The U14 footballers switched this match at Burrens request and were rewarded with a thumping defeat by a too strong visiting side. Team: N Murnion E Philips A Higgins S Curran G O’Neill D Doyle R Clarke C O’Rourke R White J Reilly R Donnelly R Mc Alinden A White A Donnelly A Mc Veigh. Subs S Bowater M Burden. Again all got a game.

U14 Football v Ballymartin 19/04/2006
The U14 footballers played Ballymartin at Dunavil on Wednesday. The visitors dominated the first half and led by eight points at half time. We played much better after the break with all five subs coming on and doing well. A late goal from Adam White sneaked the result in our favour. Team Eoghan Phillips, Ryan Clarke, Aaron Higgins, Stephen Curran, Ryan White, Declan Doyle, Michael Donnelly, James Mc Culla, Sean Colgan, Gareth O’Neill, Ronan Mc Alinden, Ryan Donnelly, Aidan Donnelly, Christopher O’Rourke, Aidan Mc Veigh. Subs Stephen Bowater, Mathew Burden, Niall Murnion, James Reilly, Adam White. Note this weeks U14 game is brought forward to tonight, Wednesday.
