The Seniors are certainly finding the Second Division ‘goal friendly’ hitting our tenth in four games. Paddy Cole had the ball in the net in the first minute after good approach play by Aidan Flanagan and Ciaran Walsh.

Ciaran Mc Veigh strode through for a thunderous second after twenty minutes and Michael Harper scored his third in two games ten minutes into the second half to end any small hope Hoops had of getting something from their visit to Dunavil.

In between there was some fine defending from Jim Clarke and Deaglan O’Reilly and good point scoring from Martin Clarke, Liam Fitzpatrick and Liam Mc Veigh.

Apart from frees from Karl Oakes and a few flashes of brilliance from Gerard Deegan Downpatrick were well contained.
