Leading nine points to two after twenty five minutes the Seniors collapsed in the second half to lose nine points to eleven. Paddy Cole scored our first three points as we edged ahead three points to two. Playing some great first time football we added the next six scores and even a few misses did not seem significant.

A couple of Aidan O’Prey frees gave Liatroim hope going in at the break five behind. Colin McCrickard completely dominated the second half and we never got to grips with his aerial presence around the centre of the field, our defence under almost relentless pressure.

When we did create chances from play and frees we never took them and even a storming solo out of defence by Liam McVeigh failed to inspire our attackers. So that’s three games lost all of which could have been won, a familiar but worrying trend.
