The senior footballers lost by a goal in Mayobridge, Michael Walsh inflicting the damage in the first half. After the break An Riocht played quite well and should have come away with something.

Sean Fetherstone made two point blank saves and another rising shot just cleared the bar with a fourth scrambled away as we dominated the play. A decent mix of long ball and good support play with the ball moving quickly swung things very much in our favour but we had perhaps left ourselves too much to do.
