Fridays game with Warrenpoint was our first senior league match at Dunavil this season and there was a tremendous start with three goals in the opening ten minutes as we went 3:2 to 0:1 ahead.

Warrenpoint held their nerve and aided by some laboured defence on our part they had the deficit cut to four points by the break, 3:4 to 0:9, and were level five minutes into the second half.

Ciaran Walsh and Aidan Cunningham, who were our best players, combined for a cracking fourth goal and when the visitors were awarded a penalty Gavin Finnegan went full length to turn the spot kick away.

Walsh added acutely angled frees, right and left, as An Riocht finished strongly.
