Six of Down's finest will pit their wits against the best of the rest in the 31st Kilmacud Crokes Sevens which takes place on Saturday, September 27.

An Riocht have been drawn in Group 11 along with Caltra (Galway), Clan Na nGael (Tyrone) and Castleisland Desmonds (Kerry). Caltra could be the team to watch as they have the Meehan brothers in their side.

Downpatrick are in Group 12 as are Strokestown (Roscommon), Portglenone (Antrim) and Dublin's Ballyboden St Enda's the club of Armagh defender Enda McNulty.

In group 4 East Down Club Kilcoo will take on Corofin (Galway), Garrycastle (Westmeath) and Rathvilly (Carlow).

Castlewellan will take part in group 6 and will pit their wits against Moorefield (Kildare), Clontibret (Monaghan), and St Nicholas (Cork)

Bryansford will take part in group 7 and come up against Kilmainhamwood (Meath), Gweedore (Donegal) and St Mary's (Sligo)

Clonduff will take on Dunshaughlin (Meath), Clonmel Commercials (Tipperary) and Allen Gaels (Leitrim) in group 9

Current All-Ireland SFC club champions - Nemo Rangers - are also involved while Bellaghy (Derry) return to defend their title.

Group games will be played on a league basis. The winner of each group will qualify for the knock-out stage of the competition.
