U16 Football Final 22/09/2004
The under sixteen footballers played poorly to lose a poor match that was there to be won. That our best players were to be found in defence says a lot about how the game went for us.

U16 Football v Bosco 01/09/2004
An Riocht claimed our third U16 FC in a row and fifth in six years with this hard earned victory in Mayobridge.
After close opening exchanges An Riocht pulled clear to lead ten points to three at half time. Some of the play was of the highest standard with the defence sharp and in front and the forwards giving an exhibition of score getting. Even on the restart we created several good chances and pointed once to go eight clear.
Then Bosco came to life in the final quarter hour scoring 1:4 to leave a point in it and forcing us to raise our game again in the closing minutes to finish five clear, 1:13 to 1:8.
Team and scorers: Joe Cole, Michael Rodgers, Damian Sherry, Conor Doyle, Darren Cunningham, Conor mc Veigh, Gary Cunningham, Conor Walsh, Fergal Doyle 0:3, Declan Ross 1:3, Christopher Killen 0:3, Johnny White 0:1, Liam Harper 0:3, Conor Sloan, Adrian Arterton. Subs Kyle Morris, Darren White, Christopher Cunningham, Diarmuid Flanagan.

Peter Walsh tournament 26/07/2004
An Riocht finished runners-up in the Peter Walsh tournament at Bryansford. Having beaten Kilcoo, Bryansford and Rostrevor, An Riocht fell short against Castlewellan in the final. Due to holidays and county commitments An Riocht had only fifteen players on duty on Saturday.
Castlewellan who had not beaten An Riocht at this level for two years ran out 16 to 5 point winners in the end.

The U16 Footballers 16/04/2004
