At the General Meeting
on Tuesday Joseph
Baldwin was elected
Chairman with Veronica
Baldwin and Christina
Donnelly joint
Secretaries. Chairman of
the Games & Coaching
committee Peter Walsh
was given the task of
procuring a coach for
the U18 / Junior teams.
A follow up meeting will
be held in early January
at which other team
coaches will be decided,
watch this space for
updates. It is hoped
some parents will get
involved at this stage
to help with various
teams.

At the All
Ireland Sevens An Riocht
beat Collon 3:1to 2:2
and Ardoyne 4:2 to 2:2
before exiting to
Kilmacud in a playoff
7:5 to 3:4. Lisa Hughes
and Laura Brennan were
awarded players of the
games while the whole
team surprised everyone
with the quality of
their Camogie. They
attended the All Ireland
Final the next day.
Thanks to all who
supported the Table
Quiz. It was a great

on Thursday 20th
October.
Fund Raising has
started for the Kilmacud
Camogie weekend, 17th
and 18th
September. Fireside
Quizes are now
circulating at £1 each
for a valuable prize and
there is a Camogie fund
raising Table-Quiz on
Thursday 15th
September.

girls were unlucky in
Darragh on Thursday
going down in the
Championship semi final
by four points having
had a goal and a point
disallowed. Laura
Brennan was the star
player.

The on
off saga continued when
Newry again postponed
the match less than an
hour before we were due
to leave Dunavil meaning
that a bus had to be
cancelled at short
notice and that girls
had gotten off work or
left studies for nothing
and had we known sooner
the Kilcoo game could
have been rearranged for
Friday. Hardly good
enough.
